When Val Santucci of VS Construction came to the United States in 1958, who would have imagined that he would someday become one of the premier builders in Westchester and Putnam Counties. Trained in Italy as a carpenter and fine furniture maker, he easily found employment at a local construction firm and spent several years perfecting his skills. In 1962, he made the decision to build his first speculative house and has never looked back.
As opportunities presented themselves, he discovered he possessed the vision and expertise for developing some of the area’s most popular single-family communities. His most recent
Subdivisions include Watch Hill Manor, The Vineyards, Peach Wood Estates in Cortlandt Manor; Woodland Estates, Putnam Chase, Strawberry Knoll; Southfork Estates and most recently Meadow Ridge all in Putnam Valley; Underhill estates and Yorktowne Mews in Yorktown Heights.
The one constant in Val Santucci’s life is his passion for his work. It’s clear that having realized his own vision of the American Dream, he now gets great deal of satisfaction out of helping people fulfill their own dream of moving into a new home.
